How can i shorten a blinds cord?

Completely lower your blind until it's in a closed position. Then, untie the knots at the end of the cord and cut it to the desired length plus one additional inch. Use the remaining one inch of cord to feed through the tassel or cap and tie another knot to secure the cord.
